Marty McCarrel

Marty McCarrel has over two decades of work experience, beginning with a role as Clinic Administrator at Virginia Mason Medical Center in 1995. Marty then moved to IDX Systems in 1998, where they served as Director of Implementations. In 2000, they took on a role as Program Manager at Walt Disney Internet Group. From 2006 to 2011, they were employed at GE Healthcare as a Services Lead. In 2011, they joined OptumInsight as Manager of Project Management. In 2013, they began working at Ballista Consulting, where they held the roles of Consultant Project Manager at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Business Development Manager, Senior Consultant, and Project Manager. In 2018, they became Director of the Jones Learning Center at Virginia Mason Medical Center, and in 2019 they began working as Project Manager at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.

Marty McCarrel received a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Nursing Administration from the University of Utah in 1992, having begun their studies there in 1984.
