Lakita Childs

Lakita Childs has seven years of work experience. Lakita began their career in 2014 as a Summer Intern at Fullerton Engineering Consultants. In 2015, they joined Brown University Dining Services as a Worker, and was promoted to Unit Manager and Supervisor. In 2016, they were an IT and Business Intern at Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc. In 2017, they were a Canvasser at Grassroots Campaigns, where they fund-raised over $5,000 for organizations such as Planned Parenthood, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and Lambda Legal. In 2018, they were a Student Worker at Brown University Library. In 2019, they were a Canvasser at Greenpeace. Most recently, they have been a Customer Success Associate at BallotReady since 2020.

Lakita Childs attended Noble Schools from 2011 to 2015 and obtained a High School Diploma. Lakita then attended Brown University from 2015 to 2019, studying Sociology. In May 2020, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
