Renee Wah has worked for a variety of companies since 2016. In 2016, they were an Instructor for Fairfax Collegiate. In 2017, they were an Intern for the Office of the City Treasurer, City of Chicago and an Urban Planning Intern for the Lakeview Chamber of Commerce. In 2018, they were a Communications and Arts Partnership Intern for Chicago Studies at the UChicago Community Service Center, a Real Estate Economics Intern for AECOM, and a Center for Youth Justice Intern for the Vera Institute of Justice. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer, Associate Product Manager, Solutions Coordinator, and Electoral Fellow for BallotReady.
Renee Wah attended Mount Holyoke College from 2015 to 2016, where they studied Architectural Studies. Renee then attended the University of Chicago from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy & Geography. Renee also obtained a Certificate with Distinction from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering in January 2023.
