Founding Team

About

Balsamiq was founded in 2008 by a group of experienced software engineers and one author. The engineers all came from Adobe Systems, Inc., where they had been working on similar projects. They decided to leave Adobe and start their own company because they wanted more creative freedom and the ability to work on their own projects. The author also left his job at O'Reilly & Associates to join the team. Together, they have a wealth of experience in software engineering and design.
