Jocelyn Alexander

Jocelyn Alexander is an experienced educator and health professional currently serving as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus since December 2012, focusing on Speech and Communication Studies. In addition to academic roles, Jocelyn manages COVID-19 community health efforts at the Baltimore City Health Department. With a background in consulting and training through independent educational services since 2004, strengths include needs assessment, complex problem-solving, and program development. Previous positions include Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional at Community Multi Services, Regional Accreditation Specialist at NACCAS, and trainer for the Maryland Board of Elections. Jocelyn holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Education in Teaching and Learning from Grand Canyon University and an Educational Specialist degree from The George Washington University.
