Kyle McDermott

Kyle McDermott is an experienced professional currently serving as the Manager of Population Health & Disease Prevention at the Baltimore City Health Department since November 2020. In this role, Kyle supervises a team of disease investigators managing Covid-19 outbreaks, providing technical advice on infection control, and coordinating interagency efforts. Previous experience includes a position as a Clinical Specialist at Towson University Health Center, where Kyle managed Covid-19 testing operations, as well as an internship at the Jacob France Institute focused on data analysis for community indicators. Additional roles have included facility management, addiction treatment operations, fine dining service, and educational support in writing for high school students. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Law & Ethics from the University of Baltimore and has further education from Tulane University and Xavier University.
