Art Flach has extensive experience in academia and leadership roles across various organizations. Since 2011, Art Flach has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore, specializing in taxation, and has held board membership on the Dean's Advisory Council at the Merrick School of Business since 2015. Flach currently holds several significant positions, including Chairman of the Audit Committee for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Central Maryland, and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the State of Maryland Board of Public Accountancy, a role appointed by Governor Martin O'Malley. Flach was previously the Partner in Charge of the Baltimore Office at Grant Thornton LLP from 1999 to 2015 and has held several leadership positions within professional and nonprofit organizations, including serving as Treasurer for The Children's Cancer Foundation, Inc. and Chairman of the Accounting Advisory Board at Loyola University Maryland. Flach holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Baltimore.
