Jose de la Barra

Jose de la Barra, MS, MBA, CHTM, has a robust background in clinical engineering and technology management, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Engineering at the University of Maryland Medical System. Jose has held pivotal roles including Director of Clinical Engineering and Patient Transport at Sibley Memorial Hospital, and Manager of Clinical Engineering at the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center. Prior experience includes supervisory positions in technical services at CBRE for GlaxoSmithKline and various managerial roles, such as Operations Manager for Clinical Technology at Kaiser Permanente. Jose holds a Masters of Business Administration in Management and an additional degree in Information Technology, both from American Intercontinental University.
