Margunn Haugland

Margunn Haugland has extensive experience in the library and information science sector, currently serving as Bibliotek- og litterarurhussjef at Bamble kommune since August 2018. Previous roles include Librarian at Telemark fylkeskommune, from January to July 2018, and Forbundsleder at Bibliotekarforbundet from November 2011 to November 2017, where Margunn also held the position of Vice-President. Additional experience encompasses co-ownership at Stein Haugland sjøservice AS, various librarian positions at Telemark fylkeskommune and Kristiansand bibliotek, and an earlier role at Sølvberget - Stavanger kulturhus og bibliotek. Margunn Haugland holds a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from Oslo and Akershus University College, along with educational backgrounds from Kristiansand katedralskole and Nordhordland folkehøgskule.
