Isabel Cristina Martinez

Isabel Cristina Martinez is the current VP of Sustainability & Corporate Services at Banco de Bogotá. Isabel has over fifteen years of experience in the telecommunications industry, having held various positions at ETB, Telefonica, and CINTEL - ICT Research and Development Center.

Martinez began their career in 2002 as a Project Manager at CINTEL. In 2004, they joined Telefonica as the Coordinator of Strategic Planning. Isabel remained with the company for eight years, during which time they were responsible for the commercialization of internet and telephone services for individuals, businesses, and households. In 2012, Martinez left Telefonica to join ETB as Vicepresidente Comercial y Movilidad. During their five years at ETB, they were responsible for the launch of the virtual mobile operator.

In their current role at Banco de Bogotá, Martinez is responsible for the bank’s sustainability initiatives and corporate services. Under their leadership, the bank has become a leader in sustainable banking practices and has been recognized as one of the world’s top sustainable banks.

Martinez's educational career includes a degree in diversity and inclusion from Stanford University, a customer experience innovation program from Northwestern State University, a program on negotiation from Harvard Law School, a master's in economics and telecommunications from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., and a Master of Business Administration from Universidad de Los Andes. Isabel also has a certification from DCH - Organización Internacional de Directivos de Capital Humano in Miembro de DCH Colombia.
