Monica is currently serving as the VP of Community Development and CRA Lending Officer at Banco do Brasil Americas. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Commercial Lender at the same company, where they successfully expanded the commercial lending portfolio and developed tailored solutions for customers. Before joining Banco do Brasil Americas, Monica worked at BankUnited as a VP of Business Relationship Manager and Senior Branch Sales Leader. Monica also served as the President of the Brazilian Complete Count Committee during the 2020 Census and held leadership roles in various organizations, including the Greater Pompano Beach, Margate & Lighthouse Point Chamber of Commerce and the Brazilian Business Group. Monica began their career at Bank of America as a VP Bank Manager and Market Growth Leader.
Monica Ribeiro attended Universidade Santa Ursula from 1980 to 1983, where they studied Psychology. In addition to their degree, Monica has obtained various certifications including a Certificate of Basic Commercial Credit & Analysis from BankUnited, a Certificate of Human Resources Management from Florida Atlantic University Continuing Ed, a Certified Bank Manager certification from Bank of America, and an NMLS certification from NMLS.
