Homaira Akbari

Homaira Akbari serves as the President & CEO of AKnowledge Partners, LLC, a global advisory firm focused on providing consultative strategies in the technology sectors since September 2012. In addition to this role, Homaira holds the position of Non Executive Board Member at Banco Santander, a prominent retail and commercial bank, since September 2016. Previously, Homaira was Chair of the Compensation Committee at Temenos from May 2020 to May 2023, and Chairman of the Board at WorkFusion from May 2019 to September 2020. Homaira also led SkyBitz, Inc. as President & CEO from October 2007 to June 2012, achieving record performance during economic challenges. Homaira is an MBA with Distinction in Strategy and Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and holds a Doctorate of Experimental Particle Physics with Honors from Tufts University and Fermi National Laboratory.
