Karin Kupzok

Karin Kupzok is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk and compliance management across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Head of Compliance at Banco Santander since December 2021 and as the Founder of Straight Talk Consulting, which focuses on bridging the gap between business and compliance. Previously, Karin held senior positions such as Director of Risk and Compliance at Intertrust Group and SVP Global Head of Non-Financial Risk at RaboDirect. Karin has also contributed to numerous roles at Rabobank, specializing in strategic and risk management across multiple regions. Educated in economics and business management, Karin holds various professional qualifications, including a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg and a CIPP/E certification from IAPP.
