Jaleh Daie, Ph.D.

Jaleh Daie, PhD, is an accomplished venture capital and private equity professional, currently serving as a Partner at Aurora Equity since 2001. As the Founder of GMR Apiary since 2022, Jaleh has established a unique pollinator-friendly ecosystem in central Texas. Jaleh has contributed significantly to the World Food Programme's Innovation Accelerator as an Advisory Board member and Visiting Executive since January 2016, providing strategic advice during a volunteer sabbatical in Summer 2023. Jaleh also holds advisory positions on various boards, including the Food Tech Congress, Manna Tree Partners, and Smart Eats, while actively participating in the Asia Society Northern California and Texas Venture Alliance as a Founding Member. Additionally, Jaleh has served as a Life Director at the Space Foundation since 2009, being the first woman appointed to the board. As an Ambassador for Life Sciences Queensland Ltd since June 2016, Jaleh continues to promote advancements in health and sustainability across the food supply chain.
