Debraj Saha

Debraj Saha has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Debraj currently holds the position of Head - Government Business Group at Bandhan Bank since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at IDFC FIRST Bank as a Senior Vice President & Zonal Head - North & East Government Banking Group from 2018 to 2022, where they successfully managed and led the banking operations for government clients.

Before joining IDFC FIRST Bank, Debraj spent a significant part of their career at Axis Bank. Debraj held various roles during their tenure, including Deputy Vice President, Central Ministry - Government Business Group from 2015 to 2018 and Assistant Vice President, Government Business Group from 2012 to 2015. In these roles, they excelled in establishing relationships with central ministries, public sector units, and autonomous bodies, and was considered a thought leader.

Debraj also gained valuable experience at HDFC Bank as a Deputy Manager in Wholesale Banking Operations and at Sika India Pvt Ltd as a Retail Sales Administrator. Additionally, they worked as Centre-In-Charge at The British Institutes and as an Accounts Officer at Licon Eskey Enterprises (India) Pvt. Ltd. earlier in their career.

In 2023, they obtained certification in IT & Cyber Security from The Institute for Development & Research in Banking Technology.
