Caitlin Flint has a diverse work experience in the field of veterinary medicine. Caitlin started their career as a Coach at McLean Premier Soccer from 2007 to 2010. Caitlin then worked as an Animal Caretaker at Wag More Dogs in 2011, followed by a position as a Veterinary Assistant at Old Dominion Animal Health from May 2011 to September 2011. In 2012, they participated in a study abroad program called Vets in the Wild, focusing on wildlife management, conservation, and veterinary practices. Caitlin gained further experience as an Animal Caretaker at Fairfax County Animal Shelter from August 2013 to January 2014. Subsequently, they pursued a Veterinary Student role at St. George's University, Grenada from January 2014 to January 2018. In 2015, they worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Big Lick Veterinary Services, where they assisted doctors and technicians in various tasks. Most recently, they have been working at Banfield Pet Hospital since May 2018, initially as an Associate Veterinarian and currently as a Lead Doctor.

Caitlin Flint completed their education with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George's University in the field of Veterinary Medicine in the years 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their degrees, Caitlin has also obtained additional certifications, including USDA Veterinary Accreditation from the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) in 2018 and Humane Euthanasia Training from Fairfax County Government in 2013.
