Kirk J. Breuninger

Kirk J. Breuninger's work experience includes various roles at different organizations. Kirk J. started their career in 2010 at Banfield Pet Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian and later served as the Chief of Staff. Kirk J. then worked as a Veterinary Research Associate and Director of Veterinary Quality (Interim) before becoming the Senior Manager of Veterinary Field Support. From 2019 to 2020, Kirk worked as the Director of Strategic Planning at Banfield Pet Hospital, and currently holds the position of Division Vice President, Veterinary Quality Operations.

In addition to their roles at Banfield Pet Hospital, Kirk has also been involved with the Washington State Department of Health as a member, Vice Chair, and Chair of the Veterinary Board of Governors. Kirk J. has contributed to the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) as a peer-reviewer for the Journal of the AVMA (JAVMA), reviewing research articles in various specialties. Kirk J. earned a VMD degree in Mixed Animal Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine between 2006 and 2010.
