Chone Sophonpanich currently serves as President and CEO as well as Executive Director of Bangkok Life Assurance Public Company Limited since January 2018. Prior to this role, Chone held various positions, including Consultant at UNICEF focusing on Innovative Finance with an emphasis on Insurance from June to November 2017, and President of Bangkok Life Insurance Plc from 2011 to June 2016. Chone's earlier experience includes Senior Vice President at Bangkok Life Assurance Pcl. from 2008 to 2011, Director of International Business at Green Spot Company from 2000 to 2008, and Senior Dealer at Bangkok Bank PCL from 1998 to 2000. Chone holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and South-East Asia Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, obtained between 1995 and 1997, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from UCL, awarded in 1995. Education was initiated at Haileybury College, completing studies there in 1992.
