Celeste De Highden, GAICD has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Head of Financial Intelligence at Bank Australia, where they are responsible for managing all matters related to financial crime and ensuring a customer-focused approach in risk management.

Prior to their current role, Celeste was a Board Director at The Kew Golf Club. Celeste also worked at Australia Post as the Head of Operations, Risk Management & Business Performance, Payments and Financial Services. In this role, they implemented a risk framework and controls, as well as developed a customer journey program to improve product growth and customer satisfaction.

Celeste's previous experience includes working at Medibank as the Head of Customer Retention, where they focused on reducing cancellations and improving revenue. Celeste also held various positions at National Australia Bank, including Chief of Staff/Executive Manager and Head of Anti Fraud Services.

Throughout their career, Celeste has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of achieving key objectives. Celeste has a deep understanding of risk management, financial crime, and customer-focused strategies.

Celeste De Highden, GAICD has a diverse education history. Celeste is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist with a degree in Economics and Marketing from Deakin University. Celeste also holds a Master of Applied Finance with a specialization in Finance and Risk Management from Macquarie University. Additionally, Celeste is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Currently, they are pursuing an Advanced Certified AML Specialist - Risk Management from CAMS, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
