Cheyne McKee

Cheyne McKee has over 20 years of experience in corporate affairs, communications, and government relations. Cheyne is currently the Head of Corporate Affairs at Bank Australia, a role they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, Cheyne served as the Acting Head of Corporate Affairs at Bank Australia from December 2021 to September 2022. Cheyne also held the position of Corporate Affairs Manager at the same company from November 2016 to September 2022.

Before joining Bank Australia, Cheyne worked at WorkSafe Victoria where they held various roles. Cheyne was the Director of Corporate Affairs & Engagement from March 2014 to June 2016, where they led the corporate affairs, government relations, and media engagement functions. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Corporate Affairs & Media and Manager of Government Services. Cheyne started their career at South East Water in 2007 as a Communications Coordinator and later worked as a Communications Officer at ConnectEast. In 2002, they worked as a Community Relations Coordinator at GM Holden.

Cheyne McKee has a Bachelor's degree in Business and Commerce/Communication from Monash University, which was obtained from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they have completed a Diploma of Project Management from Swinburne University of Technology in 2010. In 2014, Cheyne attended the Australia and New Zealand School of Government for a program called Towards Strategic Leadership.
