David Tao

David Tao, CFA, currently serves as a Principal Dealer at the Bank for International Settlements since August 2023. Previously, David held positions as Head of FX Swaps Trading at State Street, and as a Short Term Interest Rate Trader at both NatWest Markets Plc and State Street. Prior experience includes managing the FX forward desk and regulatory-related projects at Mizuho Financial Group. David holds a Master's degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from King's College London, a Master's degree in Financial Law and Jurisprudence from UCL, a Master of Economics from The University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Econometrics from the University of Sydney.
