John Laman

John Laman has a strong background in banking and finance, with experience in various roles at prominent financial institutions. John started their career at Automatic Data Processing in 2011 as an Associate District Manager, specializing in small business services. In this role, they focused on client account management, new business development, and building relationships with business bankers and CPAs. In 2012, John joined Huntington National Bank as a Business Banking Specialist, where they excelled in small business client management and new client development. John later became a Business Banking Relationship Manager and Business Client Manager, responsible for new business development in Ann Arbor and the surrounding markets. In 2016, John transitioned to PNC as an Assistant Vice President, Business Banking Officer, overseeing business banking operations. Currently, they serve as the Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer at Bank of Ann Arbor, a position they have held since 2018. Throughout their career, John has consistently demonstrated expertise in sales, client management, and developing new business opportunities.

John Laman holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Eastern Michigan University, completed in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sales and Business Marketing from the Haworth College of Business, Western Michigan University, in 2011.
