Thomas Chen

Thomas Chen has a comprehensive work experience in the banking and financial industry. Thomas started their career at Bank of China as a Risk Manager, where they analyzed market risk and presented daily risk analysis reports. Thomas later took on the role of Trader, undertaking trading activities and market making for various financial products. In 2015, they joined Vantage FX as the Chief Strategist, responsible for researching economic trends and managing important client relationships. Thomas then returned to Bank of China as the Head of Trading Team, where they managed G10 FX & rates and commodity trading desk. Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated networking skills, excellent market analysis abilities, and a strong understanding of risk management.

Thomas Chen earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Finance, General from Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management from 2005 to 2009. Thomas also holds additional certifications in CFA (from CFA Institute), FRM (from GARP FRM Program), and RG146 (from ASIC).
