Wenguang Liang has extensive work experience in various industries. Wenguang started their career as an Editor Intern at the Ministry of Commerce, P.R.C. in 2007, where they worked on projects related to investment promotion and business development.
In 2008, they joined Bank of America and China Construction Bank as a Program Consultant, assisting with project deliverables and translating reports on business restructuring. Wenguang also worked at McKinsey & Company as a Market and Language Specialist, providing conference interpretation and creating language solutions for various text types.
In 2008, Liang also started working at Beijing Language and Culture University as an Academic Program Chair and Assistant Professor. Wenguang led intercollegiate exchange programs, supervised faculty members, and designed curricula for international students.
From 2012 to 2012, Liang worked at the United Nations Headquarters as a Chinese Translation Graduate Fellow. Wenguang handled translation requests, facilitated communication in a diverse environment, and contributed to the UN's language database.
Since 2012, Liang has been working at the Bank of China. Wenguang Liang completed their MA in Language Interpretation and Translation at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned an MA in Simultaneous Interpretation from Beijing Foreign Studies University, where they studied from 2006 to 2008.
In 2012, Liang began studying at the French Institute Alliance Français in a field related to the French language. Wenguang is currently pursuing additional education in business analytics, financial management, and data analytics at Harvard Business School, where they studied from 2015 to 2016.
