Devin de Sousa

Devin De Sousa is an experienced professional currently serving as an Audit Data Analytics Manager at the Bank of England since October 2014, with prior roles as Lead Data Analyst and Data Scientist within the Data Analytics (Business Intelligence) team. In this capacity, contributions include the execution of several Proof-of-Concepts for the Bank's Datalab project, leveraging innovative techniques and Big Data technologies to bridge IT and business areas. Previously, Devin worked as a Galileo (GNSS) Engineer for Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd from October 2013 to July 2014, developing End-to-End system tests for the Galileo FOC project using Matlab. Earlier experience includes an engineering role at SSTL between 2011 and 2012 as part of a university degree program, where participation in a multi-disciplinary engineering team focused on various hardware and software projects took place. Devin holds a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Engineering in Space Technology and Planetary Exploration from the University of Surrey.
