Ruth L. Erickson is the Senior Executive Vice President, E-commerce & Demand Center at Bank of Hawaii. Previously, they were the Director of Marketing at ProService Hawaii from November 2017 to May 2019. In this role, they were responsible for increasing inbound and outbound marketing leads, refining ProService's competitive positioning in the marketplace, and working with key sales and operations team critical to ProService's success. Ruth also oversaw creative and unique direct marketing campaigns, marketing automation, content generation, lead nurturing, and digital and brand presence to tell the ProService story and drive awareness, demand generation, and customer retention.

Before joining ProService, Ruth was at Microsoft for 16 years, where they most recently served as the Director Marketing Strategy. In this role, they were responsible for the development and execution of global marketing plans and programs to support the growth of Microsoft’s enterprise business. Ruth also led a team of product managers responsible for developing go-to-market plans for new products and services, as well as managing the product portfolio for a $2B business unit.

Ruth began their career as a Web Communications Specialist at Great Plains Software, where they created and managed content for the company’s website and developed online marketing campaigns to promote new products and services.

Ruth Erickson has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Concordia College. Ruth also has certification from Wharton Executive Education in Finance and Accounting for the Non-Financial Manager.

They are on a team with Matthew K.m. Emerson - Senior Executive Vice President, Retail Lending & Deposits, Patrick Mcguirk - Senior EVP, Chief General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and James C.
