Simone Brard

Simone Brard, PMP, has extensive experience in project management and enterprise operations risk. Simone currently holds the position of SVP, Enterprise Operations Risk & Governance Director at Bank of Hope since 2019. In this role, they are responsible for leading and managing the organization's risk management policies and strategies. Simone also directs the Enterprise Risk Program, ensuring proactive risk identification and mitigation.

Before joining Bank of Hope, Simone Brard worked at East West Bank as FVP, Change Management from 2015. In this role, they managed and delivered large-scale strategic change initiatives and system conversions.

Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Project Manager at Stearns Lending, where they managed the configuration for the pricing module in a new Loan Origination System and developed the Broker portal to ensure compliance with regulations.

Simone Brard also has a strong background in the banking industry, having worked at Bank of America in various roles from 2004 to 2014. These roles include SVP, Program Manager; 1st VP, Strategic Business Alliances Manager; 1st VP, Quality Assurance, Configuration & Performance Manager; and VP, Project Office. During their time at Bank of America, they led various projects and initiatives, including the implementation of joint ventures and the integration of personnel conversions.

Before Bank of America, they worked at Washington Mutual as a Technical Project Manager and at Wellpoint Health Networks as Director, Information Technology. Earlier in their career, they served as a Business Project Manager at AIG/SunAmerica.

Throughout their career, Simone Brard has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and expertise in project management. Simone'sexperience spans multiple industries and they have successfully managed large-scale change initiatives, system conversions, and business process transformations.

Simone Brard, PMP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Chemistry from the University of Redlands, which was earned between 1984 and 1988. Prior to that, they completed high school at Marshall High School from 1982 to 1984. In 2016, they obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
