David Maher

David Maher is a seasoned program manager with extensive experience in the financial and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at Bank of Ireland since April 2019, Maher oversees network transformation programs across multiple domains, including Retail Banking and Payments. Prior to this role, Maher held the position of IT Programme Manager at Vodafone, managing projects for CIE, Irish Rail, and Bus Eireann. From February 2005 to December 2018, Maher was employed at Ericsson, where responsibilities included end-to-end program and project management, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, while managing a portfolio exceeding €15 million annually and leading the Networks Department. Maher holds educational credentials from Technological University Dublin and St. Benildus Secondary School.
