Karen Beck has extensive work experience, starting in 1993 as an Inventory Specialist at Wal*Mart Sam's Club until 1999. Karen then worked as an Accountant at Nyleve Bridge Corp from 2000 to 2010. Since 2011, they have been working at Bank of Oak Ridge, initially as a Senior Credit Analyst, Assistant Vice President, and currently as an MBA - Credit Manager, Vice President. In their roles at the bank, Karen has been responsible for underwriting, reviewing, and approving various types of loans, serving as a voting member and organizer of the Internal Loan Committee, and contributing to the development and testing of the bank's Commercial Loan Origination platform.

Karen Beck completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Analytics from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, between the years 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, between 1983 to 1984, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
