Robin Tan has a diverse work experience in various companies. Robin started their career in 2007 as an IS Intern at DHL Express Singapore, where they enhanced existing equipment inventory systems and automated manual tasks using Microsoft Excel Macro/VBA. From 2008 to 2017, they worked at Singtel as an IT Analyst, IT Manager, and Apps Lead, managing solution design, business requirements, and offshore developers for various projects and change requests.
In 2017, Robin joined Singapore Pools as a Senior Manager, establishing an in-house application development team and delivering web and mobile applications supporting the remote betting platform. Robin also led the implementation of Singapore Pools' first mobile application with electronic know-your-customer (eKYC) registration and onboarding.
From 2019 to 2021, Robin served as a Senior Solutions Architect at Singtel, participating in the BSS Transformation Program and managing the delivery of system integration and migration changes. Robin implemented DevSecOps practices, system monitoring, and migrated legacy platforms to new technology platforms.
Since 2022, Robin has been working at Bank of Singapore and OCBC Bank as a Vice President and Assistant Vice President, respectively, leading the implementation of full stack client front-end applications, including web and mobile applications. Robin is involved in digital transformation projects and improving client experience through the implementation of Android, iOS, and web applications.
Robin Tan attended Nanyang Technological University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering.
