Saad Siddiqui has a strong background in credit documentation and risk management within the banking industry. Saad started their career in 2002 at Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan Limited, where they worked as a Relationship Officer in the Corporate and Institutional Banking department. During their time there, they were responsible for preparing business credit applications, spreads on MFA, and handling customer queries.
In 2005, Saad transitioned to the role of Loan Processing Officer in the Credit Risk Control department at Standard Chartered Bank. Saad managed timely disbursements and rollovers of money market loans, as well as term loan re-pricing and new drawdowns. Saad also monitored approved excesses and ensured their settlements and reversals on due dates.
Saad moved to HSBC in 2007 and worked as an Assistant Manager in Credit Documentation for Credit Risk Management. Saad maintained a portfolio of large local and multinational corporate accounts, focusing on maintaining portfolio credit quality through regular credit reviews and early identification of problem situations.
In 2008, Saad joined Al Khalij Commercial Bank as an Assistant Relationship Manager in the Commercial Banking department. Saad provided support to senior relationship managers in various tasks, including writing credit approval memorandums, credit applications, and exposure monitoring. Saad also worked on the QDB Al Dhameen Indirect Facility program, promoting SME business growth.
Saad joined Mashreq Bank in 2014 and held multiple roles during their tenure. As a Senior Officer in Corporate Credit Documentation, they handled portfolios in international banking, local corporates, and government-related entities. Saad was responsible for preparing and reviewing standard/security documentation, ensuring authenticity and legal enforceability while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulations.
Saad's last position, before the current one, was with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). Saad served as the AVP & Lead for Corporate Documentation in the Group Credit department. Their responsibilities included reviewing and scrutinizing facility agreements and related security documentation, verifying borrowing and collateral documents, and maintaining quality and control at pre and post-execution levels.

Saad Siddiqui obtained an MBA in Finance from Hamdard Institute of Management Sciences during the academic year 2000-2001.
