Sourayan Bhattacharya

Sourayan Bhattacharya is a Young Privacy Professional at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) since January 2023, focusing on the UAE KnowledgeNet Chapter. Currently serving as a Consultant in the Group Data Privacy Office at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) since July 2021, Sourayan has accumulated a diverse range of legal experiences, including virtual and legal internships at reputable firms such as KARM Legal Consultants, TechLegis Advocates & Solicitors, and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. Additionally, Sourayan founded the Centre for Specialisation in Cyber Law Studies at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, and has interned at NCIIPC India and Hazen Legal Associates, concentrating on Cyber Law and policy research. Sourayan holds a B.B.A. LL.B. from Symbiosis International University, completed in 2020.
