Juan Bernal

Juan Bernal has a long and varied career in the financial services industry. Juan began in 1997 as a MD Credit, Collection & Risk Manager at Banco Santander. In 2009, they moved to Citi as a MD Risk Manager. In 2016, they joined Scotiabank as a Product and Value Proposition Manager & Risk Manager. In 2021, they became Global VP of Risk at Finiata. Most recently, they are a Risk Head & Member of the Leadership Team at Banxware.

Juan Bernal attended the Universidad Panamericana in 1993, where they studied Ingeniería industrial. Juan then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for an Advanced management program in 2015. In 2016, they attended New York University, where they obtained a Master of Science in Risk.
