Saju Joy is the SVP, Chief Medical Officer & Chief Physician Executive at Baptist Memorial Health Care. Saju has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

Joy began their career as an assistant professor of maternal-fetal medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Saju then went on to become the division chief of maternal-fetal medicine at Carilion Clinic and the specialty medical director of ob/gyn at Carolinas Healthcare System. In September 2015, they joined Atrium Health as the facility executive for Atrium Health Mercy. Saju remained in this role until September 2021, when they joined Baptist Memorial Health Care as their SVP, Chief Medical Officer & Chief Physician Executive.

Saju Joy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University. Saju then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same school. After working in the business world for a few years, they decided to pursue an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. Saju is currently a doctor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

They work with Ron Wachsman - VP, Revenue Cycle, Bill Griffin - EVP & CFO, and Robbie Johnson - VP & Chief Development Officer. Saju Joy reports to Jason Little, President & CEO.
