Carlos Fernandez

Carlos Fernandez has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources and management. Carlos currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources at Bar Bakers since April 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Human Resources Manager at Bar Bakers from March 2018 to March 2019.

Before joining Bar Bakers, Carlos worked as the Human Resources Manager at Prime Hospitality from March 2016 to February 2018.

Additionally, Carlos has a background in management consulting and investigation. From June 2011 to December 2016, they worked as a Management Consultant/Investigator at Cobalt Consulting & Investigation, where they analyzed operational processes and conducted personnel investigations for clients.

Carlos also has experience in the public sector. Carlos served as the Support Services Manager and Project Manager at the City of Maywood from July 2010 to January 2014. Furthermore, they held the role of Director of Support Services at the Maywood~Cudahy Police Department from March 2009 to June 2010, overseeing the Support Services Division and coordinating Human Resources functions. Prior to that, they were the Support Services Manager at the Maywood~Cudahy Police Department from July 1997 to February 2009, where they managed the development of a dispatch communication center and supervised its operations.

Carlos Fernandez has a diverse education history starting with an Associate's Degree in Administration of Justice from Fullerton College, which they obtained from 1991 to 2001. Carlos then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Columbia Southern University, completing it from 2010 to 2012. Carlos continued their education at Columbia Southern University, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Human Resources Management and Services from 2012 to 2015.

Additionally, Carlos completed a Certification Program in Human Resources Management and Services at UC Irvine in 2014 to 2015 and obtained a certification in Human Resources Management from the University of California, Irvine Extension.
