Yannick Lize

Yannick Lize is the VP of Research & Development at Baraja. Yannick has over 20 years of experience in product development in the semiconductor industry. Yannick has held positions at Intel, VIAVI Solutions, and Applied Micro, among others. Yannick has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a MBA from Queen's University.

Yannick Lize completed a B.Sc. in Applied Physics at Concordia University, followed by an M.Sc. in Fiber Optics and Photonics at Polytechnique Montréal. Yannick then became a Visiting Scholar in the field of Photonics at the University of Sydney. After returning to North America, they completed a Ph.D. in Fiber Optics Telecommunications at Polytechnique Montréal and became a Visiting Scholar in Physics (fiber optic telecom) at the University of Southern California.
