Shawn Maile

Shawn Maile is a versatile professional with extensive experience in human resources, entrepreneurship, and education. Currently serving as a Human Resource Generalist at Barbuda Ocean Club, Shawn also co-owns Trek Tours, overseeing daily operations and guided hiking tours. With a strong commitment to community service, Shawn contributes as a Board Member at Community First Cooperative Credit Union and has held multiple educational roles, including Adjunct Instructor at The University of the West Indies and Lecturer at Antigua State College. Previous experience includes serving as a Labour Relations Officer for the Antigua Barbuda Employers Federation and as a Probation Officer with the Ministry of Social Transformation. Shawn's career began in pyrotechnics with Maile Pyrotechnics, complemented by a brief internship in human resources at the YMCA of Greater Toronto. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Humber College.
