Joe Frenette has extensive experience in financial journalism, currently serving as a Financial Columnist for The Motley Fool since November 2016. In addition to this role, Joe contributed as a Financial Columnist at TipRanks from May 2021 to September 2024 and worked as a Financial Journalist for InvestorPlace from November 2023 to August 2024. Prior to entering the finance sector, Joe worked in technology roles, including as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Avigilon and a Test Automation Engineer at Syscon Justice Systems. Joe began a career in research as a Research Analyst at Pacific Gastroenterology Associates. Joe holds a B.A.Sc. in Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia, obtained in April 2013.
