Anoop Kumar Shakya

Anoop Kumar Shakya is a finance professional with extensive experience in asset-liability management and treasury operations. Currently serving as the Director - Head of ALM Model Execution & Insights at Barclays since February 2022, Anoop has previously held significant roles such as Associate Director for ALM Advisory services at Moody's Analytics and Treasury Risk at Citi. Other notable positions include IRR ALCM at HSBC and Manager of Corporate Treasury & Finance at LPS Ltd. Anoop began a career in engineering as a Design Engineer at Mahindra Satyam. Anoop holds an MBA in Banking & Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Additional qualifications include FRM, CFA Level 3 clearance, CQF, and specialized certifications in Treasury and Capital Markets as well as Corporate Banking and Credit Analysis.
