Lara McGowan

Lara McGowan is an experienced professional in the spirits industry, currently serving as General Manager for California at The Bardstown Bourbon Company since March 2019. Lara is also the Owner, Writer, and Publisher of Angel's Share Magazine, a role held since May 2012. Previous experience includes positions as a Field Sales Representative at Sazerac Company from May 2016 to March 2019, Manager for Northern California at Conecuh Ridge Distillers from February 2014 to June 2016, and Area Manager for Northern California at 375 Park Avenue Spirits, a division of Sazerac Company, from June 2015 to May 2016. Lara holds a Bachelor of Arts in American History from the University of California, Berkeley, completed between 2000 and 2006.
