Henk-Jan Schuuring

Henk-Jan Schuuring has a wealth of experience in quality and regulatory affairs. Henk-Jan started their career in 1999 as a Regulatory Affairs & QA Manager at Barentz, where they eventually became the Head of Quality & Compliance. In 2015, they became the Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Barentz, and then later served as the Global Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs. Additionally, Schuuring worked as the Managing Director at Food Quality Services BV starting in 2009. Prior to that, they gained experience as an Account Service Employee at Diners Club International and as a Political Assistant at the European Parliament.

Henk-Jan Schuuring obtained their LL.M degree in Food Law from De Montfort University from 2011 to 2016. In 2016, they attended the Summer Academy in Global Food Law & Policy. In 2011, they studied International Food Laws and Regulation at Michigan State University. Their educational background also includes studying European Law at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1993 to 1994 and International Relations at the University of Groningen from 1988 to 1994. Henk-Jan Schuuring completed their VWO degree at Wessel Gansfort College from 1978 to 1987. Additionally, they have an IRCA certification.
