James Hilburn Pmp

James Hilburn, PMP, CSM has an extensive work experience in project management. James currently holds the position of Director Project Management at Barkley, which they joined in January 2021.

Before working at Barkley, James worked at UnitedLex Corporation from October 2014 to December 2020, where they served as a Program Consultant and later as a Program Director. Prior to that, they worked at Intouch Solutions as a Senior Project Manager from December 2013 to October 2014.

From June 2012 to November 2013, James was an Interactive Project Manager at Grey Healthcare Group (KC). James then joined Global Prairie as a Project Manager from October 2011 to June 2012.

James began their career at VML in January 2010 and worked as a Project Manager until September 2011. Prior to that, from January 2005 to January 2010, they served as a Sr Project Manager at Barkley.

James's early work experience includes their role as a Practice Support Analyst at Shook, Hardy & Bacon from August 2002 to December 2004.

Throughout their career, James has showcased their expertise in project management and has held various roles in different organizations.

James Hilburn, PMP, CSM pursued their higher education beginning in 1990 at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where they attended until 1993. During this period, they did not obtain a specific degree or pursue a particular field of study. Subsequently, from 1993 to 1996, James attended The University of Kansas, obtaining a degree in English. James'sfield of study included Creative Writing, Technical Writing, History, and Interpersonal Communications.

In addition to their formal education, James has acquired additional certifications throughout their career. In November 2014, they earned the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Further enhancing their qualifications, in December 2020, James obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
