Suzanne Williams

Suzanne Williams is currently the Chief Operating Officer and a Board Member at Barkley, the largest employee owned advertising agency. Suzanne has been with the company for seven years, during which time they have transformed the accounting team into a cutting-edge finance organization and achieved record breaking top and bottom line results.

Prior to joining Barkley, Suzanne spent 21 years with Sprint, where they held various positions including Vice President of Operations Finance/Financial Planning and Analysis, Vice President & Chief Audit Executive – Internal Audit, and Director of Strategic Direction & Support – Process Excellence/Transformation Office. In their role as Vice President of Operations Finance/Financial Planning and Analysis, Suzanne was responsible for preparing the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and long-term scenario analysis. Suzanne also supervised a team of executives who served as CFOs for each operating unit and supported M&A deal teams by providing standalone financial projections as input into combined company models.

In their role as Vice President & Chief Audit Executive – Internal Audit, Suzanne led a team of 50 staff members and was responsible for transforming the traditional audit team into a valued business partner. Suzanne also defined and executed the company’s risk-based audit plan and facilitated the company’s Enterprise Risk Management program.

As Director of Strategic Direction & Support – Process Excellence/Transformation Office, Suzanne led a team that operationalized Process Excellence by setting up a structure and developing associated enterprise-wide tools. Projects generated $60M in cost savings and revenue.

Suzanne has a long history of success in financial management and operations. Suzanne is a strategic thinker who has demonstrated their ability to achieve results both in their previous roles at Sprint and their current role at Barkley.

Suzanne Williams attended Georgetown University - The McDonough School of Business, where they earned a certificate in Executive Education. Suzanne also attended Kansas State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in accounting.
