Dora Silva

Dora Silva has extensive work experience in various roles related to logistics and operations. Dora started their career in 2013 as an Operational Manager at Béllissima, Acessórios de Moda Lda. In 2014, they joined Transportes Mandala, Lda as a Traffic Coordinator/CRM, where they were responsible for routing freight, managing orders, and ensuring cost-effective and on-time deliveries. Dora then worked at Farfetch as a Delivery Support Technician from 2016 to 2020.

Since 2020, Dora has been working at Barkyn, first as an Operations Specialist and later as a Senior Operations Specialist. In these roles, they contributed to optimizing logistics processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs. Dora also played a key role in overseeing and managing all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution. Currently, Dora is working as a Continuous Improvement Lead at Barkyn, where they are expected to further enhance operational processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Dora Silva obtained a Licentiate degree in Languages and Business Relations from Universidade de Aveiro, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including a Learn SQL Course from Codecademy in April 2021, a Confident Presenter certification from Carla Rocha Comunicação in July 2019, a Project Management Foundations certification from Winning Scientific Management in June 2018, and a Pedagogical Aptitude Certificate from EVOLUI.COM in February 2011.
