Dara Richardson-Heron is a trustee at Barnard College and a former executive at Pfizer, the ExCo Group, and the National Institutes of Health.

Dr. Richardson-Heron has dedicated their career to advancing patient-focused programs and platforms. In their role as Pfizer's chief patient officer, they worked in close partnership with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to seek patients' voices and input to help Pfizer better understand and respond to patients' and communities' needs.

Prior to joining Pfizer, Dr. Richardson-Heron served as the Chief Engagement Officer and Scientific Executive for the All of Us Research Program at the National Institutes of Health. In this role, they were responsible for designing, developing and implementing the Precision Medicine Initiative-All of Us Research Program, a nationwide landmark longitudinal research study of one million+ U.S. volunteers designed to achieve equitable representation in clinical and scientific research, make groundbreaking medical advancements, and significantly enhance the wellbeing of all Americans by contributing to the science that may one day lead to the prevention of cancer, heart disease, lung disease and many other debilitating chronic diseases.

Dr. Richardson-Heron's work has had a profound impact on the lives of patients and families across the country. Dara is a tireless advocate for patients and their families, and their work has helped to bring forth breakthroughs that change patients' lives.

Dara Richardson-Heron has a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from New York Medicine Jobs and a Doctorate in Medicine from the same school. Dara also has a BA in Biology from Barnard College. Lastly, they have Human Resources Management Training from the University of Michigan.
