Doug Olmstead

Doug Olmstead is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in various technical roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as IT Manager at Barnes International, Inc. since August 2012, Doug has led significant advancements in IT infrastructure, transitioning the company from a single server to a multi-server fiber backbone solution. Prior experience includes systems engineering at Allstate, where Doug contributed to building a secure disaster recovery data center, and owning Base Two Systems, which provided tailored hardware and software solutions. Additionally, Doug has held roles at United Airlines, GKN Land Systems, Ascom Timeplex Group, Xerox, and AT&T, accumulating a comprehensive skill set in network engineering, application support, and technical services. Doug holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Sciences from Florida Metropolitan University.
