Sheedeh Moayery

Sheedeh Moayery serves as Senior Director, Associate General Counsel, and Assistant Secretary at Barnes & Noble, Inc. since March 2008, providing legal expertise across various areas for a specialty retailer and publisher. Previously, Sheedeh held the position of Interim General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Barnes & Noble Education, Inc. during its transition following a spin-off. Before joining Barnes & Noble, Sheedeh was a Senior Associate at Nixon Peabody LLP specializing in M&A and corporate securities, and an Associate at White & Case LLP where expertise included M&A and cross-border transactions. Sheedeh earned a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. in Government from the University of Virginia.
