Jamie Tasker

Jamie Tasker currently serves as the Business Intelligence Innovation Lead at Barnsley Council, a position held since March 2019, focusing on enabling data-driven decisions and developing award-winning intelligence products. Previously, after a promotion from ICT Technical Analyst (GIS), Jamie held the role of Senior Business Intelligence Technical Officer, ensuring adherence to the Council's Data Management Framework. Prior experience includes project work with the Ministry of Justice in New Zealand, roles as a Research Assistant at Kirklees Council, and positions at Primark Stores Limited. Jamie is pursuing a Level 7 Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship from the Chartered Management Institute and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Leeds.
