Emily Rose

Emily Rose is a skilled Mining Geotechnical Engineer with a comprehensive background in geotechnical risk management and field data acquisition, currently employed at Barr Engineering Co. since June 2019. Previously worked at Newmont Mining Corporation as a Geotechnical Engineer for two years, focusing on identifying geologic hazards and developing standard operating procedures. Emily's academic experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Underground Research Assistant during the pursuit of a Master of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Montana Technological University, and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Mississippi. Additional experience includes two internships with Newmont Mining Corporation, and various teaching and leadership roles in academic settings.
