In their previous role as Innovation Director at Smart Knowledge, they helped the company develop a platform-based model to sustainably produce food in a safer and cheaper way worldwide. This required him to internally transform the organization to understand the new service offering.

At Blendhub, Jose used their business model expertise to connect independent professionals and companies to design and manufacture new products in a decentralized network of modular and portable factories. This allowed Blendhub to deliver food powder solutions to the whole agri-food value chain that met requirements in terms of price, logistics, and final customer needs.

Jose Uriarte studied industrial engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Jose later received certification from the Instituto de Coaching Ejecutivo CORAOPS as an executive coach.
